A man in his 50s was found dead on a ski slope in Hemsedal on Saturday night.
The man was found dead without a helmet by the driver of a snow groomer. The relatives have been notified.
“Whether it is a case of a fall or health issues, we do not know,” operations manager Erik Gunnerød in the Southeast Police District told newspaper VG.
According to the newspaper Dagbladet, the man in question was a local. An autopsy has been scheduled.
“He was found in the area called “The Tourist.” The deceased was found on the trail, and there are no signs that he has hit anything,” Gunnerød told the newspaper.
