A man in his 30s was found injured in Konows gate in the Old Town in Oslo on Sunday morning. According to the police, he has been subjected to extensive violence and is now hospitalized.

At 8:30 AM, the police stated that the active search for perpetrators has ended.

“But the police continue to follow the case,” operations manager Vidar Pedersen in the Oslo police told NTB.

The man was conscious when the emergency services arrived at the scene, and the police have talked to the man a bit.

“Passers-by found him. His injuries are serious. He has very many fractures and has been sent to Ullevål,” operations manager Gjermund Stokkli told NTB on Sunday morning.

“We have launched a broad investigation and are looking for several perpetrators,” the operations manager added.

The man is allegedly not life-threateningly injured.

“But this is a serious matter. There is no indication that the man has been robbed,” Stokkli noted.
