Man hit by avalanche in Troms on Sunday still in critical condition
The man hit by an avalanche on Sunday at Blåruttinden in Balsfjord in Troms is still in critical condition, according to the University Hospital of Northern Norway (UNN).
The man was part of a tour group of a total of five men who were hit by the snow masses when the avalanche took place at 11:45 AM.
“One patient still has serious and life-threatening injuries, while we consider that another patient now has moderate injuries.
The three people who were slightly injured have now been discharged from the hospital,” the UNN wrote on Tuesday.
