Man in excavator attacks car in Tønsberg, injures driver

A man in his 40s used an excavator to attack the car of a man in his 50s. The driver was slightly injured.

The incident took place in Tønsberg late Sunday night. The police were notified of the excavator attack at 10:42 PM, the Southeastern Police District informed on Twitter.

The excavator driver used the excavator claw to lift the victim’s car into the air while the driver was inside.

According to the police, the background for the incident was a conflict related to a bankruptcy settlement.

The police state that the excavator driver has had his driver’s license confiscated.

Several witnesses have been questioned, and the police have also secured video recordings of the incident.
