A man was shot at Kampen in Oslo on Sunday morning and was taken to the hospital with serious but not life-threatening gunshot wounds to the leg.
“The police are on the scene. One person has been shot and has injuries to a leg. We are in contact with the injured person and someone else in an apartment. We are working to find out what happened. The injured person has been taken to the hospital,” the Oslo police wrote on Twitter.
The police informed NTB that the man had serious but not life-threatening injuries. Police are still working to locate the crime scene and interview witnesses.
They were alerted by someone who had heard a bang in the area.
“We are interviewing witnesses and trying to locate the crime scene. We are in contact with some people in the apartment where the victim was found and are actively working on getting an overview of the situation,” operations manager Kim Vindsland in the Oslo police told NTB.
