Man in his 30s arrested and charged with the murder at Rodeløkka in Oslo

A man in his 30s has been arrested and charged with murder after a man was stabbed with a knife at Anker Apartment in Københavngata in Oslo on Wednesday night.

“The accused is in his 30s and has had a relationship with the deceased. Information in the case indicates that the perpetrator and the deceased must have been in conflict with each other,” the Oslo police wrote in a press release on Thursday morning.

The police were notified of the incident at 2:45 AM on Wednesday. It took place outside the student housing in Anker Apartment on Rodeløkka in Oslo. 

The victim was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead shortly afterward.

“The deceased is a man in his 30s. The perpetrator is said to have left the place shortly after the incident,” the Oslo Police District stated in a press release on Wednesday afternoon.

There were several witnesses to the incident, and the police have spoken to several of them.
