Man in his 30s charged with growing at least 460 cannabis plants in Oslo

A man in his 30s is accused of having grown at least 460 cannabis plants on the eastern edge of Oslo.

The cannabis production must have taken place between November 2019 and November 2020. In a dried state, the plants weighed a total of around 20 kilos.

According to the indictment, the man also stole electricity worth close to NOK 140,000 in connection with cannabis production.

The case will be heard in Oslo District Court on Thursday, June 2, and two days have been set aside for the trial.
