A man in his 60s died after a tree fell on him on Saturday afternoon during a tree felling in Ullensvang in Hardanger. The man died from the injuries he sustained.
The police were notified of the accident just before 4 PM on Saturday.
Witnesses performed first aid on the spot, and the man was sent to the hospital by air ambulance. However, his life could not be saved, and the man died in hospital, the Western Police District stated in a press release.
The man’s relatives have been notified.
