Man in his 70s dies in frontal collision in Grong in Trøndelag

A man in his 70s lost his life, and three others were injured in a frontal collision between two cars on county road 7040 between Grong and Namsos on Saturday afternoon.

Operations Manager Rune Brandmo in the Trøndelag Police District told NTB that the deceased man was alone in the car.

In the other car, there were three teenagers. All of them were taken to the hospital in Namsos for treatment. The extent of their injuries is not known, but all three have been questioned by the police.

The police were notified of the accident at 3:05 PM.

The Norwegian Public Roads Administration and forensic technicians from the police have investigated the accident site.
