This summer, the Trondheim police moved out based on a report of a party. A man who should have been in quarantine had furnished and decorated the apartment like a bar. Now, he has been fined NOK 30,000.

The incident happened in August, newspaper Adresseavisen writes. There were several people inside the apartment, which was furnished as a bar.

“The conversation with the man revealed that the man had recently been to Sweden to buy drinks. Therefore, he should have been in quarantine,” police lawyer Trygve Angen in Trøndelag Police District said.

Due to the violation of both the Infection Control Act and the Alcohol Act, the man has been fined a total of NOK 30,000.

He did not want to comment on the case to the newspaper.
