A man is seriously injured after being stabbed in the center of Lillestrøm on Sunday night. The perpetrator has not been arrested, but the police have a suspect.

“When we arrived at the place, we found a person who was stabbed, possibly several times. He was transported to Ullevål by ambulance. We learned from health personnel when he was picked up that he was seriously but not critically injured,” police task leader Håkon Berg told the newspaper Romerikes Blad on Sunday.

“We are looking for a perpetrator who is described as a man, probably in his teens, about 190 centimeters tall, and has light brown skin,” the police wrote on Twitter.

Suspect description

The person in question was probably wearing a black Moncler jacket with a fur collar and jeans with what looked like paint stains.

Police told Romerikes Blad on Sunday morning that they were still looking for a teenager.

“We now have good indications and clues as to who this may be,” task leader Terje Marstad in the Eastern Police District said.

“We have not come into contact with the person yet, and of course, want to talk to him. If he sees what is written in the media now, we recommend that he contact the police as soon as possible,” Marstad said.

He added that the man who was stabbed is still considered seriously injured.
