A man in his 40s was threatened with a knife just before 3 o’clock on Saturday and robbed of his mobile phone in Spikersuppa in central Oslo.

Police say they are looking for five young men who fled the scene on foot in the direction of the National Theater and the Palace after the robbery.

“The victim was not physically injured. But as he has been threatened with a knife, he is shaken. We are looking for five young men, maybe in their early 20s. According to the victim, they are allegedly African or dark-skinned,” operations manager Rune Hekkelstrand in the Oslo Police District told NTB.

Just before 4 o’clock, the police reported they had arrested five people at Rådhusplassen, but they could not link the five to the robbery.

“Two of them have been reported for possession of drugs, and one for carrying a knife,” the police said.
