Two men in their 20s and 30s have been arrested after an incident in Raufoss in Vestre Toten Municipality on Saturday night. One of the men threatened the police with a knife.

“A man in Raufoss received threats over the phone. He was worried and called us. We moved out a little after 11 PM on Saturday, and while we were at the scene, the two men showed up,” operations manager Atle Bernhoft von Obstfelder in the Innlandet Police District told NTB.

When the police patrol asked the two for their names, one of them threatened them with a knife.

The two were arrested. Both the man in his 20s and the man in his 30s are residents of Gjøvik.

“Both are suspected of making threats, and one will be reported for the knife incident,” von Obstfelder said.
