Several dogs were lost on New Year’s Eve. According to the Facebook group Nitrogruppa, there were 75 messages about missing dogs.

According to one of the group’s members, the vast majority of dogs were frightened by the fireworks and many of them had not returned on January 2, writes NRK

.-“Compared to normal days, the turnout has been extreme,” says ID dog creator and leader of ‘ID dogs’ in Nitrogruppa, Frank Lauvstad.

Just before 1pm on Thursday, 48 of the dogs had been reunited with their owners.

– “I expect most of them to be fine. We have been on four searches where we found two dogs that were fortunately in good condition. One dog had to go to the vet after a scary night out, so it was a little scared and a little cold. The other dog was well,” says Lauvstad.
