The corona telephone in Oslo is receiving a lot of calls from people who want the second vaccine dose earlier. That’s is not possible, according to the Municipality.

Around 70% of the callers ask about the possibility of getting dose two earlier, assistant municipal chief physician Miert Skjoldborg Lindboe told ABC News.

“Currently, only those who have a vaccination appointment in the coming weeks will be offered to speed up the administration of the second dose. They will get an SMS from the district they live in,” Lindboe said.

She asked people not to call the corona phone or show up for drop-in vaccination to speed up the process.

Instead, she recommended registering on the Municipality’s website and reporting that you can show up earlier for dose two. Then you can be contacted if there are doses left over in your district.
