A total of 41 new corona cases have been registered in Bærum in the last 24 hours. Among the new cases, there are many children and young people.

The Municipality set an infection record with 68 cases on Tuesday, but Wednesday’s figures show a decrease of 27 cases. A total of 506 people tested themselves in Bærum on Tuesday, the Municipality stated.

So far, 3,411 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19 during the pandemic in Bærum.

There are especially many infected people in the age group 10-19 years. The infection is linked to one upper secondary school in particular. The Municipality does not currently want to say which school it is, Norwegian Broadcasting (NRK) reports.

The kindergartens are operating at the “red” level from Wednesday.
