Marine Harvest changes its name to MOWI
Marine Harvest launches a new global brand strategy and changes its name to MOWI.
MOWI will reflect the entrepreneurial spirit that has developed the company over the past 50 years.
“From the first salmon in 1964, we have grown into a global, fully integrated company, covering stockfish, feed production, farming, processing and sales. Throughout these 50 years, we have always been faithful to our core values to care about our people, our fish, our customers and the environment,” says Alf-Helge Aarskog, CEO of Marine Harvest.
Through MOWI and the new brand strategy, Marine Harvest will communicate that they cover the entire chain from sea to platter.
The company is going to launch MOWI in selected markets this month.
