Märtha Louise has a birthday
Princess Märtha Louise turns 48 on Sunday.
The princess was born on September 22, 1971 at the National Hospital (Rikshospitalet) in Oslo. She is number four in line for the inheritance of the crown after her brother Crown Prince Haakon and his children Princess Ingrid Alexandra and Prince Sverre Magnus.
However, since 2005, her birthday has not been an official flag day, as it is for the birthdays of the royal couple, crown prince couple and princess Ingrid Alexandra.
Every year on Märtha Louise’s birthday, her fund donates money to help children with disabilities in Norway.
