Mass fights break out in Kristiansand’s city center

The police were dispatched to Kristiansand’s city center after reports of mass fights involving around 50 teenagers on Saturday. 

Police asked parents to pick up their children.

The fights took place in Marken street in the center of the city, according to the police.

“There was a relatively large number of teenagers in the city center. 

“The police were in the area with several units to prevent more fights,” Agder police wrote on Twitter.

The police didn’t come into contact with anyone who was injured, according to newspaper VG.

The teenagers were between 16 and 17 years old. 

Police also asked parents in the area to check on their children.
