The Danish authorities are in the process of killing all corona-infected mink in North Jutland. On Wednesday night, all the mink will be killed.
Karsten Aagaard, veterinarian and chief of staff at the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration, confirmed the information to Nordjyske.
“We are about to be finished everywhere. So I believe that we will empty the last places on Wednesday night,” he says.
According to Nordjyske, there are about 350 mink farms in North Jutland.
Infections have been identified in 179 of them.
According to the Veterinary Institute, there is no suspicion of infection among mink in Norway.
