An avalanche danger warning has been issued for a number of places in Norway, from Finnmark to Møre og Romsdal, in the next few days.
In the mountain areas in Troms og Finnmark, Nordland, and Møre og Romsdal, a red danger warning has been issued, level four. Further south, the avalanche danger warning is orange, level three.
The Norwegian Meteorological Institute warns that strong gusts of 17–23 m/s from the northwest can be expected locally. The danger warning applies from Wednesday afternoon to Thursday afternoon.
“Drive in line with the (weather and road) conditions,” meteorologists suggest.
