Items worth millions in total stolen after two burglaries in Stavanger

In a few days, two stores in the Stavanger area has been subjected to very serious and very similar burglaries.

On Friday night thieves  stole around  a hundred laptops from one Expert store at Forus after  having driven a stolen panel van through one of the gates into the shop premises.
On Monday night the same thing happened to a photo shop in the center of Stavanger. The thieves got goods to the value of several million kroner from Stavanger Photo just by Romsøegården.  A similar method were uesd here,  with a stolen car being driven through the entrance.   Both vehicles are now with the  police , who will subject both of them to technical studies.
– This is very similar to the burglary in the Expert shop in Forus on Friday night. That’s  unsolved as well, but the method is the same,  operations manager Tor Helge Hallstavik in South West Police NTB says on Monday night.
The burglary at Forus was reported to police at 3:26 Friday on night. According to the store manager the perpetrators  also stole cell phones in addition to the laptops, which means that the total value of all the items stolen were around 200,000 kroner, NRK news reported.
