Justice Minister Anders Anundsen believes Norwegian data security remains a problem and has announced a new review of society’s vulnerabilities.

– It does not help to have good physical basic security around their buildings, when using simple measures can go straight into the core computers, says Anundsen to the newspaper VG.
He encourages large companies to be transparent about major cyber attacks.
The government will later this fall present a White Paper on society security, and the Attorney General has announced that there will be proposals for measures to improve it further.
– Awareness is too low and it goes right down on my and your level, how we handle our data in their daily lives on our computers.
But it was also about how intrusion and sabotage can cause major social consequences, Anundsen said.
