A man who was reported missing in the mountains in Nore and Uvdal has been found.
The man is in his 70s. He went missing in the area by the mountain Bleikehæet on Hardangervidda, the police reported on Saturday. He was reported missing Friday night.
Crews from the Red Cross were flown in by helicopter Saturday night and began the search operation.
Rescue helicopters from Sola, police helicopters, and crews from the Red Cross searched the area. Norwegian Rescue Dogs participated with three dogs.
At 10:51 AM, the police stated that the missing person had been found by a rescue helicopter. The man was cold but otherwise in good health.
