That is an increase of 17% over the last ten years.

The figures also show that 166 women over the age of 45 had children last year, which is an increase of 110% since 2009, according to P4.

Many women over 40 need help getting pregnant.

It costs money, and it’s stressful for women, but pregnancy can also be more difficult.

“The risk of having a cesarean section at birth is much higher,” Ferenc Macsali at the maternity ward at Haukeland hospital told the channel.
