Almost 90,000 Oslo citizens were registered as infected with coronavirus in January of 2022 – more than the total number of cases in the capital in 2021.

The figures were published in the Oslo Municipality’s weekly report, Norwegian Broadcasting (NRK) writes. Over 30,000 of the 90,000 cases were registered last week.

So far this year, adults under the age of 40 accounted for the majority of cases.
