The proportion of immigrants who go on trips has increased considerably since 2017, figures from Statistics Norway (SSB) show.

A new survey from Statistics Norway shows that 45% of immigrants state that they go on one to three trips a month.

That is an increase of 13% from 2017.

“This is really good news. Getting out on a trip is good for both the body and the mind. It also gives people a lot of joy.

“In nature, it is also easier to talk to Norwegians,” Secretary-General Bente Lier of Norsk Friluftsliv said.

The figures also show that immigrants from Asia, Africa, and Latin America are skiing more than before.

Women from the areas mentioned beforehand are in particular responsible for the increase in skiing activity.
