More than 100 people have been confirmed infected after a corona outbreak at the Toldboden pub in Ålesund, the Municipality stated in a press release.
On Friday, the police launched an investigation, and Toldboden has been reported for violating the Infection Control Act.
On Tuesday, Ålesund Municipality announced that the total number of infected people linked to Toldboden is now over 100 people.
A total of seven new cases of corona infection have been reported in Ålesund in the last 24 hours.
Ålesund, Sula, and Giske recently introduced strict corona measures. Among other things, cultural and entertainment venues had to close, while events and alcohol-serving were banned. The measures apply until May 10.
