A total of 23 new corona infection cases have been registered in the municipalities of Tønsberg and Færder in the last 24 hours.
Nineteen of the cases were registered in Færder, while the neighboring municipality of Tønsberg registered four cases, newspaper Tønsbergs Blad writes.
On Monday, it became known that in one of the samples from Færder, the Indian variant, which is now called the delta variant, had been detected.
Færder introduced a number of restrictions this week as a result of a major outbreak, including – among other things – a recommendation to stop all organized leisure activities, Norwegian Broadcasting (NRK) writes.
The new regulations initially apply until June 21.
