More than 20,000 people have reported side effects after receiving the corona vaccine in Norway. Of the 12,552 reports processed, 10,686 are considered not serious.

Furthermore, 1,866 of the cases are classified as serious, the Norwegian Medicines Agency reported in its adverse reaction report. More than three million people have been vaccinated against the coronavirus in Norway.

The reports received by the Norwegian Medicines Agency are based on suspicion, and it is therefore not a given that there is any causal connection between the vaccine and the side effects.

Most side effects include pain at the injection site, headache, and fever. These apply to both the vaccine from Moderna and the one from Pfizer/BioNTech.
