Last month, 1.1 million passengers traveled with SAS. That is almost a 90% increase from the same month the year before.

It is also a slight increase from August, when 1,087,000 passengers traveled with the airline. In September this year, capacity was 74% higher than the same month the year before.

“Travel restrictions have been relaxed, which means that we immediately see an increase. We are very pleased that we had more than one million passengers for the third month in a row and that we are increasing capacity successively,” CEO Anko var der Werff stated in a press release from the company.

Van der Werff says that the uncertainty surrounding the pandemic and the future remain.

“SAS must continue to act quickly and flexibly in order to be able to adapt to changes in the customers’ willingness to travel.”
