Moss orders “social shutdown” to fight corona outbreak
Moss is banning gatherings of more than ten people, introducing a full stop to alcohol serving, and banning cultural and leisure activities.
The newspaper VG was the first to report on the decision.
The municipality is coming up with a number of new measures to prevent the spread of infection based on new infection figures, NRK writes.
Mayor Hanne Tollerød says the municipal management is very concerned.
In addition to the measures above, all indoor events are prohibited, with the exception of funerals, weddings, and baptisms.
Face masks in taxis will be mandatory, and measures will be tightened in upper secondary school and adult education.
