Moss police are asking the public to get in touch with information about violations of corona rules. There has been a sharp increase in new infection cases in the municipality in the last week.

“Since October 1, we received less than 20 warnings. There is only one case where we filed a report,” police station chief Henning Dalby said at a press conference on Monday.

“The police are dependent on getting information if we are to act on what is going on,” he added.

He also emphasized that the police prioritize breaches of quarantine and isolation and assignments related to private parties and events.

Twelve new infection cases have been registered in Moss in the last 24 hours.

A total of 106 people were diagnosed with the coronavirus in the municipality last week.
