A corona-infected resident of Moss died at Østfold Hospital on Friday morning.
“It is with sadness that we have received the message that we have lost one of our inhabitants.
“It’s just as sad every time we receive such a message. I want to express my deepest condolences to the family and those closest to them,” Mayor Hanne Tollerud noted in a press release.
In the last 24 hours, 14 new infection cases have been detected among people in Moss.
Out of the 14 infected people, 12 are known close contacts of previously infected people, while two have a currently unknown route of infection.
