Nearly half of Norway’s population does not believe Donald Trump will be re-elected as President of the United States.
Norwegians are split in the middle when it comes to the belief in the re-election of the US president, a recent poll shows Norstat has made for ABC News.
46 percent of those surveyed do not believe Donald Trump will be re-elected as president on November 3, while 40 percent answer yes. At the same time, 15 percent “do not know” answer the question.
More women than men are doubtful that Trump will be re-elected as President of the United States.
– “I doubt whether it is possible to beat Trump,” says postdoctoral candidate Hilmar Mjelde at the University of Bergen.
He points out that the top Democratic candidates are too old. He also points out that the United States has a completely different political culture than most other European countries.
– “Europeans are struggling to understand how such a reckless and uneducated type as Trump can be elected president,” says Mjelde.
1,009 respondents were asked in the survey.
