Motorcycle driver dies in traffic accident on the island of Karmøy
A motorbike driver died in a traffic accident on the island of Karmøy on Friday evening.
The driver’s next of kin have been notified. The motorcycle driver was transported to Stavanger University Hospital and died there shortly after.
“The sequence of events has not yet been clarified. Several interviews with witnesses who saw the incident were carried out,” operations manager Victor Fenne-Jensen in the police in the southwest told NTB.
The police reported the accident on Vestre Karmøyveg near Sandhåland at 6 PM on Friday.
