Multiple people are confirmed positive for Corona after a party that was held in the home of a Municipal Chief Infection Control Doctor, according to Dagens Næringsliv.
The Chief Infection Control Officer was not present at the party, but is a parent of the party organizer, as per the newspaper.
The Chief Infection Control Officer resides in a municipality other than the person in question and has the ultimate responsibility for the handling of the Coronavirus in one of the counties municipalities.
According to a municipal leader who works with infection tracing after the party, 40 people were present.
-”I can only state that there was a violation of infection measures. It is not ok. It is a short distance from a young healthy person with mild symptoms to a person in a risk group.”, said the Municipal leader.
According to the Norwegian Directorate of Health’s national guide, the recommended size for groups in private contexts is a maximum of 20 people and assumes that everyone is at least one meter away.
The Infection Control Chief in the municipality that handled the outbreak says that they are currently not considering any consequences , but are concentrating on infection detection.
