One fitness center and several schools in Bærum Municipality are part of an outbreak of omicron infection, the newspaper Budstikka reports.
Municipal chief medical officer Frantz Leonard Nilsen announced the news, according to the newspaper.
“There are several schools with confirmed omicron cases. That affects the schools, as it leads to many students and teachers ending up in quarantine,” he said.
According to Nilsen, most omicron infection cases so far are close contacts to participants at the Christmas dinner party at Aker Brygge.
