Health Director Bjørn Guldvog believes that the number of infections could rise in the coming weeks because many Norwegians have returned from abroad.
“Many people from abroad have come in recent weeks. Many of these may be infected, and this could affect the infection rates in the coming weeks,” Guldvog said at the daily press conference on the corona situation.
He believes that we must therefore be prepared for more infected people to add to the statistics in the future.
Guldvog also pointed out that the number of patients on respirators has decreased, and believes that this indicates that the measures are working.
