Mutated British virus detected in Moss

Three cases of the British mutation of the coronavirus have been detected in Moss.

On its website, the Municipality stated that on Saturday night, they received confirmation that the mutated variant of the virus has infected three people in Moss in January.

The Moss Municipality states that they are working on getting a better overview of the possible spread of the mutated virus in Moss.

In the last 24 hours, three new cases of infection have been detected in the Municipality. 

Two of the cases are known close contacts, while in the latter case, the source of infection is currently unknown.

On January 30, one case of the British mutated virus has been detected in Trondheim.
