Nakstad: The reopening will certainly lead to infection among younger people in Norway
More younger people will become infected with the coronavirus as a result of the reopening, Espen Nakstad stated on Sunday.
On Saturday at 4 PM, Norway reopened, and there are now virtually no significant corona measures in place at the national level.
The reopening was celebrated in large parts of the country. More young people will probably be infected as Norway reopens, assistant health director Espen Nakstad believes.
“The reopening will certainly lead to more cases of infection among younger people, but it is not certain that we will see this clearly in the infection numbers because most people are vaccinated and because private self-tests are registered to a small extent,” he told NTB.
