Nakstad: We will wait for the Norwegian Medicines Agency’s assessments of AstraZeneca
After the European Medicines Agency (EMA) gave AstraZeneca the green light for continued use, assistant health director Espen Rostrup Nakstad said it was important to wait for the Norwegian health authorities' decision.
“We will await the Norwegian Medicines Agency’s assessments in this case,” Nakstad told NTB.
Norwegian health authorities have announced a press conference at 6:30 PM to inform the public about the Norwegian assessment of the vaccine.
On Thursday, the European Medicines Agency said the vaccine was safe and concluded that its benefits outweigh the risk.
