On Friday, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg will travel to Bardufoss to visit the Cold Response exercise.

Stoltenberg will meet soldiers who participate in the exercise, and he will also hold a press conference, NATO stated in a press release on Tuesday.

Around 30,000 soldiers from 27 NATO countries are participating in Cold Response 2022, which will last until April.

On Monday, Crown Prince Haakon traveled to a location just north of Narvik to visit the exercise, which is being carried out at the same time as the ongoing war in Ukraine.

On the same day, Sweden’s Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson (S) and the Moderates’ leader Ulf Kristersson also visited the exercise.
