A rule change means that Nav can now accept sick leave without personal attendance. Now they urge people to contact the doctor over the phone.

The temporary rule change came into effect on Friday. The doctor will now consider whether it is professionally justifiable to write a sick leave or a medical certificate without personal attendance, Nav writes on its website.

Employers are also encouraged to let employees use self-notification if there is a suspicion of a coronavirus infection or need for quarantine.

Nav also reminds that there is no longer a medical certificate requirement to receive care money if the kindergarten or school closes due to the coronavirus.
