The police have finished investigating the knife attack at a NAV office in Bergen in September last year.

Police attorney Christine Møen Wisløff at the Western Police District informed the newspaper VG that they are now waiting for the forensic psychiatric assessment but that the case has otherwise been fully investigated.

The police have conducted 41 interrogations of witnesses in the case.

On September 20 last year, two employees were stabbed at NAV Årstad in Bergen.

A 57-year-old woman died from the injuries, while her colleague was lightly injured. The accused man was admitted to compulsory observation this week.

He was remanded in custody for 13 additional weeks in Hordaland District Court on December 13. According to the prison sentence, the police want to keep the man in custody until the trial starts, the newspaper noted.
