Nearly 400 were convicted of sex crimes last year

399 people in total were convicted of sex crimes in 2015, according to a survey  made by  TV2. Almost 70 per cent of the victims were children under the age of 16.
30 percent of  the perpetrators assaulted children, according to the channel.
The court records reveals that 479 persons in total were  victims of sexual crimes last year. Of those, 331 were under 16 years old. This means that nearly 70 percent of the victims are children.
Of the 399 persons who were convicted,  117 of those were convicted of offenses against children under the age of 16  and 94 persons were convicted of rape.  Only nine of the 399 who were convicted are women, according to the channel.
There were 51 nationalities among all those convicted and 110 persons in the age group 20-29 years.
