New cold temperature record in Troms

At Bardufoss, it was measured minus 29 minus degree Celsius in the early hours to Sunday. Never before has it been this cold at the beginning of November in Troms as this year.

That’s what NRK writes.

The previous November record in Troms is minus 29.7 degrees Celsius and that temperature was measured on November 30, 1988.

At Bardufoss it was around minus 25 degrees C. on Sunday morning, and it is generally cold throughout northern Norway. In Bodø and Tromsø it was around minus 6 degrees Celcius on Sunday morning.

At Siccajavre in Finnmark, the temperature was measured at minus 31.1 degrees Celcius, in the early hours Sunday.

Throughout the week, the temperatures will rise slightly, according to the Meteorological Institute.
