A total of 831 new corona infection cases have been registered in Oslo in the last 24 hours. That is 201 more than the same day last week and a new 24-hour record for the capital.
The previous peak in infection was registered in Oslo on August 30 this year, with 680 cases in one day.
Around 10% of the inhabitants of Oslo have been registered as infected with coronavirus since March last year, a total of 68,264 people. Over 7,300 cases have been registered in the last two weeks alone.
The infection rates are highest in the Søndre Nordstrand district, with an infection pressure of 1,934 infected people per 100,000 inhabitants in the last two weeks.
The figures are lowest in the districts of Nordre Aker, Vestre Aker, and Ullern.
