For the fourth consecutive weekend, demonstrations were held in Oslo against Turkey’s military offensive in northern Syria on Saturday. The event went smoothly.
The protesters met at Jernbanetorget in central Oslo at 14 o’clock and went up to Youngstorget. The event was arranged by the Kurdish organizations UngKurd Norge and Kurdisk Demokratisk Samfunnssenter (Kurdish Democratic Community Center).
Saturday’s demonstrations have gone smoothly, says operations manager Tore Solberg in the Oslo Police District to NTB.
