The new road stretch on the E39 between Kristiansand and Mandal will open in November, Nye Veier announced on Tuesday.
The new road will replace an accident-prone stretch between Mandal and Kristiansand in Agder.
Work on the stretch has been going on for four years, and in November, the entire stretch will be opened, the newspaper Avisa Lindesnes writes.
“Now, we are aiming for people to be able to drive on a new and safe road in November,” communications advisor Nils Bernt Rinde in Nye Veier said.
